The Holly Tree Bungalows were built in 1970. Mrs Cora Collin gifted the land, along with £10,000 to meet build costs for four bungalows in her former orchard in Earls Lane. The purpose of the bungalows is to ensure that the disabled and/or aged in our Parish, or those in ‘necessitous circumstances’ are housed in good quality accommodation suitable for their needs.
Over the years the charity, Deddington Housing Association (DHA) run by a group of trustees, has managed the properties and its finances very well and has been totally self-sufficient while keeping the accommodation in very good order for our residents and ensuring they have an attractive and peaceful garden to enjoy too.
